If he's radioactive you might develop superpowers. Those claws look lethal.

It was quite nice to see a Barn Owl and a Hare at Stanworth yesterday...

Oh, and a Goshawk in a Berlingo. Bit surreal..

Unfortunately not... that would have been impressive!
Sat on a perch in the passenger seat, a falconer out either hunting (he mentioned hares) or at least flying his birds near to the quarry.

No, it was a Harris Hawk in the passenger seat. The Goshawk was allegedly in the back of the van, but we didn't see it.

Cool. Just walked through shopping centre and one of the vendors has an owl perched at the side of his stall. Not sure what it was, looked like a tawny.

(I've just realised I missed a pun and should have said "prey tell me more")

Seen lots of migrating flocks over sheffield recently - Geese etc.

However, my dads just txt'd and it simply says '1 million starlings on Longstone Edge'

Had a Waxwing visiting our garden for about a month.  Hadn't realised how rare/uncommon they are. (Maybe should have having never seen one before though). Trying to get a picture but it's away as soon as I try to open the back door.

You reckon it's unlikely?

Pretty sure it's a waxwing and it first appeared before Christmas. Anything I could be confusing it with?

Depends how much you know... it's definitely not a Jay? If you get a proper look the wax blobs on the wingtip feathers are unique to the species.
