brownstones in the 70s

Hi,
can anyone help out with a bit of info here? I need estimated (or actual) V grades for two old problems at Brownstones: Rusty Wall and Hank's Wall. Any ideas?

Thanks Adam,
Any idea about Dave Hollows' "Rusty Wall". Dave, by the way, has no idea!

Iam not sure about that...

Guess you just got to see how it compares to Hanks Wall really. And adjust accordingly

i learnt to climb at Brownstones in the armmm 90's when all that vert stuff was the rage.  Although Hanks wall get 6c in the guide you would have to be very eliminate fo it to get V7 or V8.  Rusty wall on the other hand would probably sneak in @ V7 as would Thunder (mark leach) on the back wall.  If you can get in contact with a guy called Andy Kaye he knows more about it than me and has various variations on a theme

Thanks. It's the 70s I'm really interested in. Scott Blunk's posts on 70s bouldering in the USA provided the catalyst and I'm now 4000 words into "The Ultimate Retro Party", a shameless wallow in nostalgia, in an attempt to set the UK record straight. So, guys, any info (however biased!) gratefully received. UK only, though, and the cut-off date is 1980. Claims, counter claims, scandal and lies will all be cross-checked with my sources, so be careful
