Went down to Dinas Rock today (first visit) hoping to get on a few problems on kennelgarth but it was subject to a fair bit of seepage. Disappointed I wondered over to the main face where the river was overflowing up to the rock, removing any chance of trying boy racer. The cave looked good though so tried a few unlogged problems on the slab and started to feel like the trip was worthwhile, then I found the cave project... I spent the next hour getting closer and closer to the first move before finally sticking it, realising the second move was solid, and getting the sequence for the next few moves. Feeling smug that I made some progress on something hard (and dry) I wondered back down the steep hill towards the car park whereupon I slipped on a rock straight onto my back (boulder pad came into its own at that point) and bounced my elbow off a sharp rock leaving me with a gash, a few grazes and alot of swelling a bruising... definitely a NNFN moment

What a shi**y day at work today.
A few months ago, a girl came to the law firm, having just returned from the Police office, where she had reported she had undergone a sexual violence from her "boyfriend".
We started searching to find out the number of the case, who was going to be the public accusation, etc. to prepare everything. But nothing. Weeks, then months passed without any news.
When we told her, she said "No wonder, he's going to get away with it, because he's a police informer and they protect him."
We replied that it wasn't possible, that it was unreal and so on.
Today we found out that the public accusation dismissed the case because "unfounded".
Motherfuckers.
Luckily this made me so angry that it fuelled a sprint, weighted hangs and front lever pulls lunch-break session that left me still angry, but at least tired.

Shit. Did you drive it or realise in time? (Btw C.10% diesel in a petrol car makes it smokey but functional!)

I drove it  :shit: Hoping the fuel pump isnt broken which ive heard can happen. Im going to try and drain the tank, fill it with some diesel and see what happens. Fingers crossed, I have no money to fix thing if its fucked.

Been there! In my ancient Espace. Garage drained tank, flushed fuel system, and said keep it topped up for the first few weeks so petrol is diluted down, was a bit juddery for a day or two, but came right and fuel pump survived. Expensive mistake!

Take it easy, large amounts of petrol is not something to piss about with. The AA and others have special vans for this kind of thing. I know its highly annoying and you say your short of cash but I'd be tempted to get the pros to sort it and write it off to experience.

We could use it to document this contest between you and shark to see who can fail the highest.

Or No No Fucking Yes for when Shark finally tops out in a few years time and then no-one allows him the tick because of the ladder debacle.

No clearly you're winning on the failing stakes but shark is miles ahead in the laughing stock contest.

That's a stiff sequence Shark, worth 7c of anyone's money. You know you can static to the lower break to avoid the pop?

That's what Rob Napier did. Are my feet in the right place to do it statically?
