TFCC, not good. I hope the MRI shows more inflammation than tearing and that a few weeks of physio sorts it out.

Two years ago I decided to stop climbing due to elbow issues. Fortunately the wife persuaded me to get surgery and recently I managed 7A for the first time in 3 years. I know your situation is potentially worse than mine, but don't give up hope. BTW, I'm 55 yrs old, your recuperative powers are far greater than mine!

Lateral degeneration, oedema in joint complex, and IN the ulna bone. Delighted to be informed as in incidental finding I will be blighted by scaphoid arthritis in a few short years.

Management plan... Climbing is OK 

Getting physio exercises from British boxing team physio.. Via my very understanding surgeon.  Reportedly they have excellent non operative results.

Steroid injection in 6 weeks.

Bought 2 wrist widget splints.

Another steroid injection in June, to get me through dream trip of a life time to whistler MTB park....

Wrist scope + - repair end of summer 2014 if still an issue.

Makes sense distraction is better than compression.

Do you have lymph massage in the UK? I had a couple of sessions of that, took the swelling right out of my elbow post surgically.

At the Buttermilks yesterday - Finally sent High Plains Drifter YYFY ! Then pitched off the top of Pope's Prow, missing the pads and spraining left ankle and left knee NNFN ! Supposed to follow up with ortho after the holiday and see if I need MRI/arthroscopy etc for my knee.
