You forgot you are not very good on a bike, let alone going fast? You look like a (losing) prize fighter!

Happy healing. Hope the thumb is OK.

Just got back from a visit to my GP regarding chronic low level aches/pains/instability in my left knee. On ultrasound the upper edge of my patella looks well worn down. Incipient arthritis, NNFN.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is getting on a bit and has spent years systematically wearing out crucial body parts. Got referrals for MR scan and physiotherapy. I already take turmeric capsules and eat lots of ginger. Anything else?

Been told to stop eating tomatoes - not bothered to research whether it's true or not but it seems to be common advice. Not sure I eat enough to worry about it.

Just pulled my A2 in a ring finger and it hurts a lot. Much icing and brufen taking place. No climbing for a while.

Unrelated but even worse, I have to have an MRI as I may have something wrong with my aorta due to a genetic condition that might have been passed on from my Dad. He dropped dead out of the blue last year.

NNFN...

I once went to Gatwick when I should have been at Heathrow. At least you don't tend to make that sort of mistake twice....

You could look at it as you saved money not going..?
My mate booked his flight to meet me in Rocklands a couple of years back. All good except he booked September instead of August.

I know of someone on here who arrived a full 24 hours early for their flight?

Ones that piss me off are when for once you arrive in good time at the airport only to have the flight delayed for forever.

Missed a flight due to the sound stopping working on my phone overnight and so didn't hear the silent alarm! At least it was only work and not something enjoyable.
Landed in glorious sunshine last week and thought I'd got on the wrong plane, only to discover that unfortunately it was Glasgow we'd landed at.
