1/2 to whole bottle of whiskey in a session used to be our cure for Bucharesti Belly..

This seems like a bit of YYFY :)

Can be.. we video'd one of our team taking this approach on an overnight sleeper train once.. it did work though....

3rd session on Joe's Arete. Still can't do the bastard, and infact didn't get as close as I did on my first session.

1st go on 3 pocket slab - felt good, didn't get it. However, actually psyched to fail and come back knowing what to do. (Added bonus of seeing Shauna and Ned warming up on it too.)

NNFN, they've blocked vimeo at work so now I can't get my lunch-time psyche on. May have to go on strike...

Apparently it's not work that's blocked it, it's the office buildings themselves. What's a proxy?

Ah, I thought it was a slang term for a weak person or a small amount of something.

Top hit on  :google: for "what is a proxy" is Wikipedia : Proxy Server  (second hit in case Wikipedia is blocked at your work too WhatIsMyIPAddress.com - What is a proxy).

After busting my gut to get our new house decorated and sorted to move in this weekend, the rain has decided it wants to put a stop to my plans and has pissed in down the chimney breast and ruined all my hard work doing wall papering. Absoultely gutted, the Mrs is in pieces as we have been living with my parents for months whilst I have been working on the house. Just when it was all starting to come together, I'm now going backwards. Furious!  :wall: :slap:   :chair: :'( :furious:

I know where you are at.  Our chimney breast was wet, coming down the chimney.  We had the chimney rebuilt, and redecorated.  But it's still wet, so looks like a replastering is in order at some point!

Normally I'm not against wet breasts, but in this case I'm whole heartedly against them! Its literally a never ending shower of shite.

Yeah, annoying, but not the end of the world and could have had a far more severe outcome.

Me too, friend bashed his knee quite hard and is limping today, but nothing more serious happened (apart from ~1m being lost off the end of mates ropes who were doing a route next to us).

Just had a bloke out to look at our malfunctioning dishwasher. I thought it might just be the seal that needed replacing but he fixed that and it still didn't work. Basically it's fucked and will cost nearly as much (or perhaps more depending on the fault) to fix it as it will be to buy a new one. As the repair man said, these things aren't designed to be fixed nowadays, they make the parts so restrictively expensive. It's under 2 1/2 years old.

Moral of the story, don't buy Hotpoint / Indesit appliances (the guy recommended Zanussi as more expensive Bosch etc are just as likely to break down).

My Mum's dishwasher is 15 years old and has never gone wrong. It's just a massive con / nothing lasts these days etc etc etc.......... :furious:
