After 6 weeks of pulley injuries, on the way to the works I crash my 125... Is this perhaps a greater being telling me not to climb?

Gutted tom, a savage turn, however give it a week and you could practice finger locks

My pebble grasping skills will be second to none after a few weeks deadhanging those raw plugs :)
Typical Hull house. Build of soot and builders spit.

while heading to the buckstones hit a big pothole at 50-60MPH. I saw it too late as it was over a small verge.
6 month old alloy buckled ... bollocks!!! I have now buckled my front passenger wheel twice in 2011.
 :wall: :'(

Get your tracking checked too or your tyre costs may increase.

Report it

There doesn't seem to be a way to report all of the roads in Sheffield simultaneously!

Did the same thing in Kirklees, measured the hole( It must be deeper than either 6 or 9 inches, I forget which). It must have been reported previously, and not repaired,  to get cash back. I got a replacement tyre. 100 squid. Nice.

The important bit was that they have had information re. the hole and failed to act on it. If they don't know about them, they cannot have done anything to fix them so are not, in their eyes, at fault.

There's  a big hole forming on scapegoat hill at the minute. A real gaper. Where was yours?

New hey road at the first lay by on the left as you are heading past nont sarahs towards the parking for buckstones.

This is the bastard : http://www.flickr.com/photos/grubespics/5938028334/# but its a crap photo should of taken a few more. There is white spray paint around the edge of the pot hole so kirklees are aware of it. I should of got a photo from further away

I'd take more fots, showing location and perspective, then give 'em a ring. You never know. And keep all your receipts for any work done.

Whilst you're taking pictures:

Put a ruler in the hole, vertically, and take a picture so that you can read the depth. Take a distance shot showing where the hole is in the road and another to identify the position of the hole with respect to other road features.

Takes pictures of your buckled wheel.

As an aside, there's some lovely roof problems on the prow at Buckstones, if you haven't done them already.

I guess you are talking about the ones in this thread? http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,9440.msg190339.html#msg190339
They are a bit beyond my current capability but I think I will try then later in the year. There was a nice breeze in the carpark but by the rocks were completely sheltered from it. The grit was really warm and the midges were out in force espcially on that prow. We just did some easy stuff for an hour or so and retreated to the pub.
