thats such a strong photo blunk. underbite, backwards cap, cycling shorts. surely this must go in the old skool pics thread as well ;)

next hold looks like its going to ask questions of your pain tolerance

Backwards hat due to balding issues, and baggy shorts due to no style sense. The underbite is my standard grimace.

It can't be wet for the year, its not even September. Looks like a load of good weather coming towards end of next week.

Been having forearm/elbow pain over the last month so went to the physio last night and confirmed Tennis Elbow..   Oh well, at least I've caught it early.  No more Lime sport climbing or bouldering for a while.  A couple of weeks rest the time to dust off the trad rack and get out on the grit cracks and some Lleyn action.

snapped holds off deep water soloing, hit big spiky rocks, mild concussion, fractured head of radius and a very sore ass. Actually could be a YYFY, considering i was on my own and didn't a) break anything worse b) drown.

Hairich, you might well have dislocated your hip if you regularly warm down by being involved in a high speed rta.

Recover soon Mr Cream, what happened to the deep water landing though?
I think I'll be returning to the grit now, what with Andy F taking up swimming too.

cheers, it weren't the best!

It was in terminal zawn (not quite!) , on what i guess is part of the end of rainbow bridge - couple of holds exploded on easy bit. Later told by wise local that he never does that bit as its 'well dangerous' but does an easy climb out 50 yards or so before, or a harder, lower continuation (which i was traversing in to go and do but thought i'd check it out from the easy bit first)

Will, what happened? You were storming through those 8's.... bad news, hope its a simple injury rather than something complex & long healing...

I was working King Kong and fell from the jump move and missed the mat, I have to go back to hospital on Tuesday to see a specialist, fingers crossed it isn't anything too serious.....

Not cool.......

Its nails for 7b isn't it ?
If you compare it to something like Beginner's Wall at 7b+ then there's not much difference there IMO

I wouldn't argue with 7b+, especially considering the time it's taken me so far :-[ Funny thing is that now when putting the clips in every move feels piss but for some reason on the RP I keep fluffing the move before the 4th clip.... Gotta be the most frustrating route I've ever been on!

Good to know that I'm not the only one that's found it hard tho ;)

NNFN! Some bastard decided to try and break into our van yesterday... what was more annoying/worrying is that we were clearly asleep inside the damn thing. It had all of the front window insulation in and the pad was leaning against the passenger door (they moved this to get to the lock). They didn't get in as we woke up but they have messed up both front door locks. Bleedin' spanish  :wank:

Get yourself a aerosol can of de-icer as a squirt of that in the face should deal with the situation.

Bummer, at least you're both ok though.

Hope its not too costly/awkward to repair.

front door locks.

Bummer. Front door locks barrels aren't too bad to replace if the bodywork is OK, but it will mean you have a different key to open the door and start the van, unless you get the barrels cut to suite the key, which can be costly.

Thats really shit news - especially while you were sleeping - that would creep me out a bit... Anyway, in the meantime thought about simply tying the doors together inside? Quite a visual sign that someones in, now f*ck off...?
