I have no idea if this is photoshopped (I expect so) but it really amused me.

Sorry if it's been on here before.

According to a facebook entry, a resident of Japan, Kenn Sakurai, is reporting that both dogs were found alive in Mito, Ibaraki. And thanks to the efforts of Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support, the two dogs are currently in the care of a local shelter.  It took them two hours to get the one dog to calm down enough to allow them to rescue the weaker one. One is now in shelther, the weaker one now in a vet clinic.

Bless his heart, staying with his friend.

This is going to sound terrible (and I don't mean to belittle the human tragedy) but when any of these terrible disasters happen I always get really upset about the animals and wonder who is helping them, I know it's horrendous for all the people who have been touched by it but the aid sent out for them is usually very fast and apparent, and I worry it isn't the same for all the poor pets.  :'(

Mags,
The Japanese are almost as besotted with their pets as the English, you can be sure the local animal welfare & rescue groups are out there looking for them. I know a group from a Melbourne Animal Rescue group have flown to Japan in the last few days to help as well.

Thanks Dave, I know under the current circumstances it's not really something that should be top of the priority list but I can't help but feel for them.

You would be, if that didn't look so tasty.  ;D

This thread is lacking in lambs for the time of year though, live springing ones.
