any1 else seen or heard abt the video of a latvian (or somewhere eastern blocky) guy who threw a dog off a bridge in retaliation of the dog killing his mum's chickens?

i'd post it on here but as this is more of a happy thread i'd rather not as it is very sad. it's howls of pain just makes you angry. the guy did get jailed after a large internet campaigne.

[the dog did survive the fall but in a very bad way. reported to have died since]

Jesus Christ, Namnok.  You might as well have posted it since your description is just about as upsetting as the video would have been.   I am a weirdo and have re-read it about 4 times and now I'm all bloody tearful about it.  Poor puppy.   :'(

No nasty shit on the cute thread!! :rtfm:

General rule of thumb; animal loving ladies do not wish to hear sad or cruel animal related stories unless they have a very happy ending.   ;)  Your dog is a red cross, I will view her later when I can see FB pics.

Excellent cat in box specimen, and gangly youth magpie, Dave.

Have we had 'Stuff on My Cat' yet?

A veritable gold mine of pissed off looking cats with stuff piled on them.

There are loads of cat/kitten websites (obviously cos they are awesome animals!)

Another good one is Rate My Kitten

I have been known to (over) use the term "Cuter than a box of kittens" in a Blythe, blase, off hand sort of a way; without actually thinking just how cute a box of kittens is.
A box of kittens is this cute.

and actually there is almost nothing on earth this cute.

Beware, they may be hypnokitties.

if you find yourself buying large bags of catfood beware.

Daschund in her new cat bed.
Do you not think that may give her a complex?  ;)

You ain't good enough to be a dog, get back to your cat bed...
