I were cycling to school with the largest child on Wednesday and a squirrel fell out of a conker tree and crashed to the ground in front of us. It did a comedy stagger in circles for a moment and then scuttled off into the undergrowth. We had to get off our bikes due to laughing too much.

Squirrels are mental - check out my avatar, full story here:

My mate startled a couple of squirrels half-way up a route at Agden Rocher earlier this year.  One scuttled off along a ledge to a safe exit at the top of the crag, the other thought it was Tom Cruise and went running along a branch of a tree sticking out of the crag (fortunately friend had just clipped a sling around this tree), then took a flying leap off the end of the branch BASE jump style, missed the trees nearby and plummeted some 30-40ft hitting the ground about 20-25 feet away from the base of the crag.  It didn't move for a few seconds and I thought it must have been dead, but no it pulled itself together and scuttled off (presumably to find a tree to die under!).

Fortunately we did see any sheep coming over the top of the crag but there were a couple that had already tried this prior to our arrival.

Funny squirrels; my brother's girlfriend got attacked by one a while back and she claims it was a crack addict, but who really knows, it might just have been mad.

Now if we legalised drugs we wouldnt have any of these problems of drug related squirrel crime  ;)

What is that!!  It's beautiful.  Love the teensy hedgepigs too.

On a similar mini theme, mini pigs, only £500 each!

I'm not sure how nice it is to breed them tiny just to be pets though, although I do really want one.  :-[

So breeding pigs to be tiny is not nice, but breeding dogs to be ugly is OK?

I am not trawling all the way through the thread just so I can quote myself and remind you, Mr Forgetful, but I have previously said I don't agree with anything being bred just to make it a cuter / smaller / more desirable pet.  :P

They look lovely now, but what happens when they get a bit older and the dogs look like:

I wouldn't want to be that little pig then...  :(

I would not be part of any comedy triple act that would have me as a member of it.
