Forgot I had snapped this when I was in the Sinai at the tender age of 15.

This works for exactly as long as the mouse survived. Do we have details?

WE DON'T WANT DETAILS!!  We want to look on in awe as the lovely big cat leaves the lovely wee mouse alone, except maybe to give it a wee kiss on the head.  :P

I do love an otter, the two love otters holding hands are the best, I'm sure we had them earlier in the thread.  ;D

I did!  It was awesome.  There was a lots of cooing at the TV going on.  The cuscus was amazing, and so cute, and the scientist man got to give it a proper cuddle without it being at all bothered which was lovely.

The moths that were on were very cool too, and the giant rat, and everything actually, apparent from the giant spider and the flat worm.

Sadly in 5 years time they'll probably meld such great TV with something like the Xfactor, so you'll have to phone up a premium rate line to vote to keep the cutest animal in the show (unlucky if you're a spider or work!)

I watched one episode of that, and was annoyed by premise and by him. Some nature cameramen work their entire life to get a chance at doing what they got to do, and instead they spend a fortune getting a load of clueless punters in to do it.

I quite like leeches, they do good things.  I would like one on me for a wee shot, to see what it feels like.

The programme made me a bit sad actually, I bet there were loads of places like that with special new creatures but we wrecked them all by chopping down the forests and other crappy human stuff before we even got the chance to see what was there naturally.  :(

Been there, done that.

For the record you won't feel anything. I didn't notice I'd had one until I took my shirt off that night and the leechy had long gone on his merry leechy way.

How do you know it was a leech, Will, do they leave a mark?

As an aside, I'm a little saddened that I had to wait until page 36 for one for you to post a topless shot exclusively for me.   ;)

Anytime, Babe.

It was in Thailand and the jungle where we were walking was very leechy. They were all over the place, the guide stopped to pick a few up and pass them round several times and there was no shortage. It didn't really leave anything but a small circular cut in the skin where it had manged. If it had been a normally caused cut from something sharp I'm pretty sure I would have felt it.
