This thread needs guinea pigs guinea-saurus rex's, guinea beas and guinea pirates, the loveliest deadliest [genus of] animals in the whole wide world.

The Three Stags Heads Now has Its own herd of semi-wild guinea pigs complete with a Beware of the guinea pig signs. Just another reason why it is the best pub in the world.

If I'm thinking of the same pub, surely the mummified cat is enough reason to visit?

Yes the witch's cat is surely that, but mentioned on this thread its going to draw down the wrath of mags, as mummified cat is not cute... interesting, but not cute.

My nosiness is getting in the way of my wrath... can you tell it was a cat, or is it just a lump of bandages?  :-\

I do like the idea of a herd of guinea pigs.

Just about, its in a small alcove in the corner of the pub.

Don't think its got bandages on it so not a true mummified cat, but if I remember correctly it was found holed up in a cavity in one of the walls.

This is indeed an accurate description of the ex-cat. There are no bandages.

Won't be anything to do with witches though, walling up cats was meant to ward off evil spirits.

Actually Andy I think it was to do with witches. Also the gibbet hill is just over the road from the pub so warding off the souls of murderers and even worse, sheep thieves was probably involved.

Lovely Jeeves!

I'm not a massive chinchilla fan, Slackers, but that ones neatly folded back feet have won me over.  ;D

Me neither. Always look like  a rat that has done a lot of gym workand taken steroids, but then got fat and lazy and started smoking and drinking.

A random office conversation made me think of baby chameleons we had in our garden once.

not my pics, but they were like this.
