LOLcats rock, you are wrong, Chris.  ;)

But forgiven as you posted the toattie wee horse!

The pics are cool, but the captions are so brainless. And I didn't post the pic of the toy horse, it was our Antipodean chum DaveC.

Google for pics, and seems quite common.

I've been feeding these ducklings in a local pond next to the autobahn for a few weeks.  Quite a serene little oasis in amongst the hustle & bustle, nice place for a lunchtime beer (though I may have to curb the liquid luncheon as I was stung on the lip today by a wasp that had taken a shine to my pils, 2nd wasp I've had in my mouth in a week, little fucker).

There were 5 originally, presume 2 were lost to dogs, certainly didn't starve as food is plentiful; there's only 12 birds on the pond, a pair of Moorhens w/ chick, a pair of Coots, 4 female ducks and the remaining 3 ducklings.  Here they are three weeks ago

And here they are today, as you can see, they've become quite bold, even allowing me to pick them up occassionally.

If it is anything like my mothers cat then it is win all the way for the cat - took the dog down the other week and I had to remove the entire sheath from the cats claw out of his nose after the first bout where the cat got four swipes in on his nose before he even knew what had hit him - admittedly he was ambushed but even so. Another time my brothers very large grey cat attacked him as well and it was like a scene out of Alien - full on face hugging stuff nd all the rest. Most amusing afterwards but pretty scary at the time.

The one on the left looks pretty evil, but the one with the hair, just looks confused.

Lots of lovely things!!

I like the evil cat smacking the dog, even though it is not technically cute.  And the hair eating babies!  :-[

It's not sad, it just appears to be sad in an anthropomorphic way, but is actually hideously disfigured by centuries of cruel inbreeding.

Poor thing should be put out of its misery.

I agree about the inbreeding but you can't kill him because of it.  We should stop the inbreeding and just let the poor wee uggers live out their inbred lives in peace.  :ang:

Die Pug-haters, die!  :furious:

Pugs are awesome.  They're not GUARD dogs, they're FUN dogs.  Really, I've never seen a bad-tempered pug, unlike a Jack Russell or Poodle or shitty Labrador or their owners  :)

A Fennec Fox (nocturnal desert fox, hence the large ears)

I think a baby fennec appeared on here before?

As an aside, I like the fact that a bat eared fox

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat-eared_Fox
and a flying fox bat

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pteropus
exist

Although the latter is not very PMEFM at all

Bats are welcome, Chris, I love them.

I really need a Fennec fox as a pet, the ears are ridiculous!

Edit: Look!  I can have one!
Quote
The Fennec Fox is considered the only species of fox which can properly be kept as a pet. Although it cannot be considered domesticated, it can be kept in a domestic setting similar to dogs or cats.
