I love that Faith, I have seen her before and she made me cry.  :'(

I nearly bought a cat wig, but I knew it would go the way of the fairy gown and never get worn.  ::)  I like the shredders sorry face.

Now stay with me on this one: Mouse, vole, rabbit, cute birds=cute & catfood Therefore cat containing any combination of cute catfood= 3xcute because 1 cat is cute 2 its tea was cute (cute + cute = double cute) & 3 the cat is happy and happy cats are extra cute. As you can see from my flawless logic the sum total of cuteness is increased Hurrah for the science of cuteness>

Have we had that one?  I thought we'd only had the three naked ones together.  Is that real?!  Surely they aren't that furry and don't have such big ears?  It's so cute.

Look at the Narwhal, the bastard son of a dolphin and a unicorn!:

I am still not wholly convinced that this isn't some big internet joke that I have fallen for...

No, they are real, for real.
Proof God takes LSD. The Duckbill platypus is proof he drops acid too.

Like a beaver, but has a duck bill. Warm blooded, but lays eggs. Has poison claws.

Wonder what God eats when he has the munchies?

Just found this out;

Quote
One of the more surprising elements was the animal's system for sex determination. Most mammals have two sex chromosomes, either two X chromosomes (to make a female) or an X and a Y (to make a male). Not only do platypuses have 10 instead of two, but some of those resemble the Z and W chromosomes of birds more than standard-issue X's and Y's.

Moreover, the key gene on the Y chromosome that confers maleness in most mammals is not present on any of the platypus' sex chromosomes. It is on another chromosome, where it seems to have nothing to do with sex. In its place, another gene seems to be central to sex determination in platypuses, evidence of a shakeout of various evolutionary efforts to settle on a system of sex determination in early mammals.

wtf??

Also classed as a monotreme (one hole) as it, like reptiles, has one hole from which it excretes and lays eggs.

I've had too much wine and have a strong urge to giggle and say rude childish stuff about holes.

I'll settle for saying, awwww, isn't the duck billed thingy cute.

One of my cats doesn't so much purr, but tramples all over my face and scratches the bed and carpet to fuck until I get up and feed him.  Of late though I've taken to shutting him out of the room and he's slowly learning who's boss again.

My friends greyhound Flash who's unfortunately quite old and has had a liver problem, friends reckon he'll be lucky to see the year out, but he's perked up and is still amazing when he catches a rabit out of the corner of his eye and takes off

@Bubba : Wasn't Tilly the one who sustained a rather nasty injury to the hind leg a while back?

Which is about the point at which they start developing the irritating purr.
