In fact, Uglorable in general has some "so ugly it's cute" stuff.

Also some mythical stuff too!

And some crazy stuff

Can't wait to be 60 when I can legitimately own one.
Get one now!!  Don't let the haterz hold you back  8)  Look at their wee pokey out tounges and smooshed faces!!

When I get sacked for lack of work ethic I am blaming you lot; I need to spend the day on Uglorable! and gooling Axolotl now  ::)

Also, tree kangaroo!

Axolotl's are quite cool, a friend used to have one and I could (and did) spend quite some time watching it.

You can keep them!!?  As pets!!?  I had several people Googling last night to check if we were allowed the Nudibranches as pets but it seems not.

While we're slightly off topic with creatures which aren't technically considered cute by all, this is what I really need in my life (he's massive but it shows his wrinkles to their full):

That justs looks like a cat thats had some clippers taken to it.

Now "nude" Sphynx cats are very strange...

He's a Sphynx, he just has a few tufts, it's not uncommon.  Ideally I want a totally nude dude though.

How can you not love a face like that:

Ahh, ok, was the hair on the nose/face, tail, hind leg/heel and front paw.  I'm just being pedantic as you've probably already noticed  :-[ :guilty:

That is a very serious cat

I presume you mean "I am a pedant", or "I am being pedantic".

Tut, I expected better from you Slackers.   ::)

Those Sphinxes are a bit scary for me. Devon Rex is where it's at:

I though Pinky and the Brain as soon as I saw it. Skin on head actually looks like a brain too.

What's with the lack of whiskers? That can't be good for a cat.

They're bred to have no body hair at all, whiskers included, the ones that do have a wee bit are imperfect pedigree wise.

Part of the reason I don't have one is cause they take masses of work; you have to bath them a lot and do special things for their eyes and ears, the fact they have no fur / hair at all means they don't self-clean the way a normal cat would.

In a way it's quite cruel I guess, cause if they're not looked after properly life can be a bit horrid for them, the ones I've been offered have been rescues that people didn't want anymore  :(  *Magpie kills the cute aspect*

(woz) I can't see yours, I'll need to wait until I am at home, I'm sure they are gorgeous though.  Devon Rex are the woolly ones, aren't they?

[offtopic]Akk, that sounds pretty grim - the whole notion of pedigree breeds of any animal that are destined to be in pain or need constant attention is a disgrace imo.[/offtopic]

To make up for it I will post some pics of Whisky Jacks (birdies) eating out my hand last week.

[still off topic] I know, it's a bit horrid, isn't it?  I'm not a fan of pedigree anything in all honesty, I'd never buy one from a breeder cause I don't really agree with it.  I do have a Siamese, but she's a rescue, and I'd have one again, or a rescue Sphinx if I thought I had the time to care for it.  I'm not a big fan of the mass in-breeding that goes on to get "perfect" looking animals, the Heinz 57 varieties are generally cuter and much more healthy [/still off topic]

Show us the birds, Chris.  8)

Those Sphynx cats are horrible. I would not have one in my home, I would constantly be made to jump when the "monster" rounded a dark corner.

If anyone finds themselves near Fontainebleau on a rainy/rest day and wants to see lots of fluffy cuteness, you could try a visit to Parc Animalier de l'Emprunt in Souppes sur Loing. Lots of rabits hopping around the place and some interesting deer, goats, tiny weeny pigs, racoons etc. They even have pony rides. I was a bit disturbed by seeing the fox and badger in very sparse cages though.

If its not too hot it should be worth a drive to Parc des Felins, which should keep her happy. I've not been yet.
