how weird, it was working in preview..

You cocked up mixing the 'url' and 'img' tags.  In this instance I'd just use the 'img' tags as set out in this guide as the picture isn't hosted at flickr or other sites which stipulate backlinking.  If you want to check what the BBcode should have looked like, then simply quote this message and look below....

THis thread is affecting my sleep!

The other night I dreamt of a chimera of the cute gecko and this chap

a marine geckoslug I guess.

Very weird

(yay I got imbedding to work!)

T'is a fancy seaslug, although I shall leave it to Magpie the arbitrator of cuteness to decide

I insist that you all call the fancy sea slug a "nudibranch", because that is what it is. They are very small and VERY pretty. Possibly the prettiest example of nature's efforts that I have ever seen (apart from Mrs Starfish of course). Google for images of nudibranch and you'll see what I mean. I get all giddy if I find one whilst diving and end up wanting to stay where I am to stare at them until my air runs out.
Best one I saw was a Spannish Dancer on a night dive - not just pretty, but they move so cool as well.

My aunt and uncle have a resident fox in their garden. It comes out when they have barbies and gets fed scraps. Not as cute as that one though.

That second panda is seriously cute.

The nudibranch (I have no idea how you make that plural  ) creatures are my new most favourite thing ever, for now.   They have the most excellent faces!!!  Are they big?  Look how cool they are!!!

Bubba I can't see all of your pictures but teeny, tiny rabbit salad and stick-up panda suggest good things  8)

Those fox people are the sorts who make me proud to be British

Generally very small (1-5cm in my limited experience), but some species are bigger.
There are fan sites... http://www.nudipixel.net

I am going to go on that fan site and waste the whole day.  I am even more delighted now I know they are mostly teensy!  :bounce:

I have only ever seen a dead one washed up on the beach in the Transkei when I was young. I was convinced it was an alien life form, and got quite excited. Maybe they actually are?

I like the slightly rude sounding name as well. Almost as good as Lake Titicaca.
