Kitson just came over to my desk at work chuckling about my comment on the Daily Mail website. I was confused.

For the record, and I won't mince words, I wouldn't.

I wish I looked like a tiny, gravity-defying doll when I climbed.  :(
You do!

Well, belief-defying....

"Hailed as one of the world's greatest climbers"?
Hmmm, well I never once saw her at The School

I was most amused to find that I was able to post as anyone I wanted to be after registering only once. Daily Mail baiting is a fine distraction from writing up my research.

Apologies to Hunt, Moon and big Ron if they feel misrepresented

I'm sorry but all this wandering  :off: means an injection of everyone's favourite Slovenian DFBWGC may be in order...so to speak!

Would be stunning if she wasn't doing a red-tips dab.

Could it not be the start of a standing problem?  :)
Or do these not exist any more?

A problem you start by standing rather than some arbitary bum scraping? What a novel idea, it'll never catch on though  ::)

My God! It appears that she really is using the starting hold (two bits of tape).

"standing starts" will never catch on - I mean think of the dangers involved in being that bit higher off the floor

The things they do in these competitions, eh?

Standing starts?! You'll be suggesting that downclimbing to the ground on an onsight attempt is ok next.

You wouldn't catch Tilly doing a standing start. She's the best climber in the world - it said so in The Mail.
