Surely flashing a one armer isn't any more impressive. You can either do it or you can't?!

He mentioned wanting to try this, in his usual nonchalant and understated way, at the BMC AGM. I wonder what the total mileage on rock and running is? Unbelievable!

I know some people don't read 'the other site' so from UKC:

Caff started at 3:40am by soloing Central Buttress, E1 5b, on Scafell before running to the next crag on his list. Caff's list of crags covered roughly includes; Scafell, Pers Gill Crag, Flat Crags, Neckband Crag, Gimmer, Pavey Ark, and then down into Borrowdale to eventually finish at Castle Rock.

I can't get over this, probably deserves a thread of its own. I didn't think there were 100 clean extremes in the Lakes!

Great effort James.

I know some people don't read 'the other site' so from UKC

Its dead simple to include links in posts, they are after all the foundation of the Web.  If you're unsure how read this, its not much different to the selective copy and paste from the news article you did.

I don't understand the pointless "this site" / "the other site" mentality I'm afraid. Regardless of what anyone thinks its not at all productive.

Christ, this is going a little off topic so apologies for that, I agree the opprobrium heaped on UKC can be a bit much on here but it's not like I didn't name check it.

I'm sorry for undermining the foundations of the Internet.

Anyway, did anyone see that bit on the 'other channel' about Nalle........

Maybe someone could use one of those link things to take you to more information about the person and what they've climbed.  They work like magic.

 ::) :P

Slackers is like a 1970's public park attendant on watch 24/7 ensuring no wrongdoing or breaking of THE RULES takes place on UKB..

They're not RULES they're just useful/helpful and it is piss easy to paste a link into a post.  Why wouldn't you include links?  :shrug:
