woods has repeated a 9a sport and FA of a font 8c... hardly news for him nowadays i surpose

http://www.b3bouldering.com/

Daniel Woods, fresh off a send of Wyoming’s hardest route, Moonshine 9a at Wild Iris, has made the FA of the White Boulder Project in Wild Basin, in RMNP. This is estimated to be 8C and....

Dave G has done the same route - perhaps not hugely significant in itself, but I particularly enjoyed his write up

Mick doing Pottymouth 8Bish quickly for its 2nd ascent
Dave Jones repeating Dandelion Mind for its 2nd ascent soft 8B+ish

would count as worth a mention in my book. Jonesy nearly did Dandelion in a session last year, that wont surprise anyone whose climbed on a board with him, but maybe people who've seen him on slabs.

Yeah I picked up on that, but from sarcastic acorns grow mighty bullshit oak trees, Tom told me he had a video of it so I thought I would convey this information.

Well done to Posh Dave there.  It's about time - he came over to the Mill with me a while back, and session'd my main project/training line.

Last I heard, he was kicking Micky's arse on his own board - really good effort from these guys.  Good stuff, carry on.

Mina has crushed a V12/V13 in the States.

Great effort! Though you can bet she used her adhesive knees.

Here in Squamish, Sharma's Dreamcatcher just had its 3rd ascent from local Ben Harnden. Only three ascents in seven years.

Good heavens. I assumed from the number of people one sees trying it in videos that it was something like the South Col route on Everest. Presumably it appears in videos because it's so photogenic?

Ah, that's great, we had the privilege of watching him trying it in August. Looked like amazing climbing, and he was all over it. One of his mates looked to be doing pretty well too, so I guess there might be a fourth soon. I'm liking the way sport climbing isn't all about clinging on to Spanish limestone for a change.
