Incredibly impressive.

Love the polite applause at the end  :clap2:

Also love how she almost completely forgets how to climb on the easy looking final exit - something you can sometimes see happening to even the very best.

She's got an incredibly pink blog @ http://ogawatomoko.aspota.jp/

We were working the same problem in Fukube one day maybe 4-5 years ago.  I am quite amazed the she has done a 5-dan now, she must be very persistent.

Probably won't be long anyway.

Is Dave Graham real?

I only seem to see pictures of him from instagram/tilt shift mode - is he actually a doll placed on small boulders?

To give a proper sense of scale, that photo is the D.G. doll TM below the starting holds of a font 7a.

Awesome. Pretty much as far from her hard bouldering ascents as you can get I'd imagine- I was climbing with V10+ climbers who were failing on far easier routes there. Also worth pointing out that virtually none of the steep routes in the Red are easier for the short, particularly none in that mental cave. Waddage.

It mentions Jon Cardwell redpointing 50 Words for Pump (8c+) at the end of the article, too. I watched him do it-  third go after dropping the last hold on his second try, so not exactly a siege.  Inspirational stuff!

Will Stanhope has done The Prophet.  He got close last year attempting it with Sonnie Trotter, went back this autumn and sounds like he was successful this time.

Facebook, not giving away much.

Good stuff! Was looking up at his ledge for days while I was on Zodiac. Good to hear that he got it done. Looks a hell of a lot steeper from the side than it does on the telly!

Paul Robinson has repeated the 8B+ sit start to Gandalf in Verazze, and is waiting for the temperatures to drop so he can work Gioia.

Young Frankenjura-climber Alex Megos also flashed Pure Imagination, among other things (German, sorry).
