Whats the deal with the North Wales guide.
Has this labour of love been aborted?
Is there any chance that I could get some topos to get me started?
Cheers :D

I think its in its final stages. The current issue of OTE has an article on Ogwen bouldering which should help you out. Its definitely better that the guide isn't rushed but I would still like to see it before Christmas  :D

I'm just getting back into bouldering again after several (serious+non serious) injuries are clearing up.  I'm sick to death of falling off the same problems in Yorkshire and Wales has always meant the cromlech boulders
If anyones got any topos would be cool

there's always the peak ( ) which is a good place to get back into climbing as there is a lot of easy stuff with good landings.
Unsure where the smoke is tho so don't know wether you live up north or in wales.

I mean London
I lived in Sheffield for a couple of years, so I'm au fait with The Yorkshire scene.  Just read the thread on thuggish climbing in Wales and thought that would do nicely, me with bad legs an all

Whilst I have always been pro choice on the grounds of human rights, I have lived too long with my 'bump' to erase its existence in a moment of flippant emotional disregard. I sense a level of communication with the book (perhaps this is telepathy?) akin to that which normally occurs between blood bound relatives, even though they may be continents apart.

If only I could work out what the book is saying to me?

Could it be: "Get a fucking life Panton!"...

...or perhaps, "Get a fucking move on Panton!"

Well, I guess its plain to see, that if I 'get a fucking move on', then I will surely be free once more to 'get a life' - with, of course, the added advantage that you lot get to finally test the N Wales bouldering hypothesis.

Simple really.

If only they'd told me that when I first started on this trail to hell.

Oh well, we live and learn.

...and yes I do realise that all relatives are by definition, 'blood bound'.

I'm so looking forwards to having some direction when I next head over to Wales!

Dylan, you didn't used to knock around Cliff's Barn in the early 90's by any chance?

I take it you won't be doing any more guide books after this.

Yes I did climb at Cliff's Barn in the Early 90's, don't remember anyone called dobbin though
Yes Adam it is I, though I think you would describe my hair as ironic mullet at the moment :8)
