I have an old Wacom Graphire tablet which Lagers Jr likes to draw with. Unfortunately we have lost the pen. A search shows that these are pretty expensive to replace (£20ish) relative to the cost of a new tablet (Bamboo 1 costing £30ish).
This surprised me as I thought most of the technology was in the tablet and the pen was a simple thing - obviously I was wrong.
Do any of you graphics people know whether there is a cheap alternative to Wacom pens? Or does anyone have a spare that they are willing to part with?
Or does anyone have an old tablet with pen that they want to sell to me?
