Not exactly fresh news, but still affecting hundreds of thousands, some video footage from a car caught in the tsunami in Japan earlier this year

Check your packs of Nurofen people.

This is **NOT** a joke

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-14666291

Only packs of Nurofen Plus are affected Consumers are being warned to check packs of Nurofen Plus after it emerged that thousands could mistakenly contain antipsychotic drugs.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued a safety alert following reports that some batches of Nurofen Plus contained Seroquel XL 50mg instead.

More seriously, lets hope there isn't a batch of antipsychotic drugs out there which will do little more than ease an aching back.

Its a wonderful word, "somehow".

and somehow a hose went into his bottom.

So many questions posed. So much intrigue. All from one little word.

Sorry for not including any gut-wrenching puns.

Drug Policy in Portugal : The Benefits of Decriminalizing Drug Use

From the foreword...

Quote
Portugal proves that decriminalization does not increase drug use. To the contrary,
it has demonstrated that humanitarian and pragmatic strategies can, in fact, reduce drug
consumption, addiction, recidivism, and HIV infection. Portugal gives us hope that we can
overcome the fear-driven “war on drugs” propaganda that paralyzes societies and hinders
reform. Portugal proves that strategies based on respect for human dignity and the right to
health can increase public safety.

Well I suppose by the standards of big cities it's OK but I live just down the road and I can actually think of several cities I'd rather live in.
Anyway, the only thing that really counts to Melbournites is that they are above Sydney on the list!

Thanks for posting that, I work in addiction research and hadn't even realised that Portugal had decriminalised drug use. Interesting reading..
