A bit old but its the first time I've come across it....

Reads like something out of Saw (only not quite so grotesque)

"Public Service" Broadcasting's finest in action...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12338053

Quote
"Mexican cars are just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat."

Quote
described Mexican food as "refried sick".

Quote
confident he would not receive any complaints about their comments because the Mexican ambassador would be asleep.

oops!

However, the ambassador (was awake, and) did complain, and demanded an apology from the BBC.

Just when the state of Queensland thought it was safe, along comes a category 5 cyclone!!!

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/02/02/3127394.htm

This is basically hitting all the bits of the coast which didn't cop the flooding in January.

We had a weird day in Victoria yesterday, their were major flood warnings on our northern rivers at the same time as a roaring north-west wind brought 40 degree temperatures and a Total Fire Ban!

I've just worked out why Sloper fucked off. He realised that even he couldn't spin the total fuck up the Tories are making of absolutely everything.

He read(s) the Guardian - I think he's just outed himself and realised he's actually a closet socialist and can't face the truth!  ;D

The press are being very gentle with the new regime.. Give it a couple of years, the honeymoon will be over and this sort of thing will start to hang the coallition. The articles quite interesting - the fella really does face the issue of not having enough time or money to do all this voluntary work! You'd be OK Cam, SamCam's trust fund'd pick up the shortfall..

That's the irony. The only people in a position to work for nothing are those suggesting this ridiculous plan.

Quote
Other unpaid coalition advisers include Lord Heseltine and the "digital champion" Martha Lane Fox – both millionaires.

Let's be honest. This is not a coalition in anything other than name, it's a Tory government dragging a few Lib Dem politicians along with it like a depressed child on a shopping trip. I'm not sure how much more of it they'll take before the "coalition" disintegrates.

Quote
The governments Big Ideas are really unravelling now, quite quickly too. I read an interview with (the venerable) Denis Healy at the weekend and when asked how long the coalition will last he replied that it won't survive the year. He may be right.

Wouldn't be surprised.

In general I'd agree with you there... Vince frequently has the same expression I have when I'm told that "we're going to go to Ikea"...

except that Liberal 'head boy' Nick 'I wasnt lying about tuition fees even though I was' Clegg seems to think its a complete consumated coalition with Condom face :shag:

(sorry about the Clegg demi-rant, I just heard his decietful tones on R5 and it made me cross  >:(  )

Dear Tony, everyone already thinks you're a cunt, you can stop trying to ram the message home now....

As someone pointed out, he's never been bothered before about a million people protesting on the streets so why start now?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/australasia/australia-braced-for-giant-cyclone-2201887.html

This is really kicking off now. Just had an e-mail from an old work colleague (amazingly, his wireless connection is still working) currently sitting in an evacuation centre near Cairns and he reckons they've already had gusts over 160 kmh and the noise inside the centre is so loud you cannot here somebody shouting at you from 2m away!
In a moment of madness this evening I've agreed to join my boss in volunteering to go up in the next few days to help with relief work if the call goes out. Spare a thought for all of them up there, I suspect it's going to be a truly harrowing night.

Got an email from brother and family in Townsville. They moved out of their house, and stayed with friends who had a safe cellar. Said the noise was just incredible, like nothing else. (The kids slept through it all!) Luckily their house suffered minimal damage, just a flooded pool and some broken trees.

Be careful if you need to let some gas out in Malawi

When asked whether it could be enforced, he said it would be similar to laws banning urinating in public.

I think he's taking the piss.

That story blew me away. Wait until other countries get wind of it, they'll be cracking out some new laws then.
