This kind of story makes me think it would be a good idea if next time one of these Iranian clerics visits a western country there should be several thousand people armed with a plentiful supply of decent-sized stones waiting to greet them as they leave the airport terminal!

What is it with Brits and snakes? I have a creek full of Tiger & Eastern Brown Snakes behind my place and it doesn't keep anybody here out of their gardens - the only casualty I've heard of in our time has been a local cat a few doors down that disturbed a Tiger Snake sleeping under their house.
Local fire crews counted at least 20 snakes fleeing a controlled burn along the creek earlier this year but that hasn't stopped loads of local kids continuing to walk to school and back along it's banks and they even fish and swim in the deeper pools!
