Robo-cat!

Surely that should be in Magpie's thread?!

I flipped a coin and "Da News" won.

:o Mind you its the US, I should never be surprised at the extent of some idiots there.

To balance it with some UK humour...

I'm with Stupid

(Quite why its in the North East, Orkney and Shetland section when the report indicates the sighting was in Snowdonia I've no idea!)

Ah, I see, t'was where they'd taken off from, seems like there's prime scope for saving Government expenditure by doing low-level flying exercises in Scotland near to the base instead of flying down to Snowdonia.

Real cause of massive debt was caused by finance sector, not people's social programs. "Well, it seems to depend upon where you sit. If you're a big bank right now that's loaded up on Treasury bonds, paying zero and earning 3.5 percent, the thing that can hurt you is interest rates go to 5 percent, which they would do if the economy recovered. So you have essentially used what I'll call the yield curve trade, the riskless yield curve trade of the Treasury market on the balance sheet of big banks to create a coalition for maintained austerity."

No more "high-gravity day" excuses

Although I can't tell if yellow is high-gravity, or low. If it's high, then everyone's ticks in Hampi should lose a grade  ;D

A photo Journalist describes his experience following the black block as they rampage through the streets of Toronto during the G20 Summit. 20,000 police and security officials and a $1 billion security budget were not enough to stop 75-100 black block anarchists from smashing windows and torching police cars during a 1.5 hour rampage. The Black Block were able to rampage through the street for 24 blocks until they reached the 'official protest zone' where they quickly changed clothes dispersed through the crowd of peaceful protesters and then left the site. The police were fully aware of the rampage and watched the black block from a distance at a number of locations. It wasn't until they had dispersed into a crowd of peaceful protesters who thought that they were in a sanctioned area that the police took action beating innocent people with batons and spraying them with pepper spray.
