You bastard Chillax - carelessly clicked on the link only to be sucked into 'Mailworld' and find myself fives minutes later still reading the insanity that is Peter Hitchen's blog. Its just too gruesome to resist.

What nonsense.

Griffin should have his limbs amputated, be painted orange and forced to live in a glass jar as a permanent feature on the Richard and Judy show; kinda like one of the heads-in-a-jar on Futurama.

Woman rings cops to decry daughter's superior BJ skills - it rates pretty highly on the bizarre scale...  ::)

Yeah, but either way its a pretty funny proof of concept (I thought anyway).

Wasn't sure where to put this as it's comment rather than news but anyone interested in the whole government v Science drugs policy thing should read it.

Actually everyone should read it.

Good article...

Quote
the ONDCP spent $14bn on anti-cannabis adverts aimed at teenagers, and $43m to find out if the ads worked. They discovered that kids who saw the ads were more likely afterwards to get stoned, so the evidence was suppressed, and the ad campaign marched on.

Fact Two is somewhat tempered by the reported increase (not sure I trust the sources) in cocaine usage, but reduction in purity (couldn't say, narcotics have never been of that much interest to me).

I was convinced by Marks (Howard) back in 1998(ish???) that legalisation, as opposed to decriminalisation, was the most logical approach to drug policy (whilst smoking spliffs in the Sheffield Uni Lecture Theatre  :P)

:) I saw Howard Marks whilst in Cardiff Uni in 1998.. Guess it was the same tour?

Personally I can't wait for the day when one can nip down to Tesco's for a loaf and an 1/8 of skunk  ;D
