I ended up washing my rope using some bronners soap in my front loading washer. Overall it worked great buuuuuut there are a few spots of what looks like soap scum on it now. Turns out my area does have pretty hard water and I’m guessing the combination of the soap and water caused it. Anyone with any experience with this? I’m ultimately hoping it hasn’t compromised the rope in any way but also would love to hear any ways to get rid of it. Thanks!!!
