after some Googleing i found out i met shauna bouldering at plantation one evening. she was with Adam, cofe, mawson, pasquill and she gave an impressive display of skills and steel nerves when she could not reach the good hold very high on a slab. Fantastic effort in the cave! I'm very impressed!

awesome.. kind of answers my next question about the state of kilnsey... i thought it would be gopping but true north was obviously climbable....
 
Ken Yager reports on supertopo that Alex Honnold has soloed The Phoenix in Yosemite. Phoenix is "only" a single-pitch 5.13a (7c+) but the business is technical insecure thin jamming and it is a long way up in the air.

According to his spray sheet he did it second go back in 2006; insecure hand jam 7c+ sounds horrible to solo whether you've practised it or not!
