A long shot on here I know but as some people are going to the valley:

We're selling our Runout Customs Ultralight Double Portaledge + Fly. Its done about 18 pitches total and may have the slight aroma of burning wilderness. The fly pole is a little scratched after a slight 'incident' but it isn't bent or broken.

Its lighter (16lbs total) than both the Metolius and Black Diamond doubles and is based around the North Face / A5 design (i.e. no spreader bar).

$750 delivered or payment in GBP also fine.

This is the best portaledge currently available unless you are going to Baffin or Trango.

Paul, if you're considering bringing this home and concerned by excess baggage costs, I managed to convince the Virgin check-in desk at LA that mine counted as "sporting goods". A copy of a climbing mag. with a picture of the item in operation may have helped.

Or you could just take the assault rifle trade-in offer.

Cracking design, we just need to get more proficient at sorting out the anchors when we set it up. Two bolts 8" apart made it a PITA to get the bags and ledge in a useful arrangement!

TBH, we're both leaning towards taking it home currently (after receiving low-ball offers via MP and Supertopo), lets face it we're coming back one way or another (we didn't have the common sense to stop trying when the writing was on the wall, still a tad bitter about this).

Nats family often fly into and out of Florida with next to no baggage so we can send it via UPS (fairly cheap) and get them to take it home, at 41" high it doesn't break any baggage limits anyway (for us it'd cost $100 for another bag).

ps - the firearms offered as a 'trade' were for our van. How many guns do you get for a 99 Ford E-150, I just have no idea what would constitute value?
