Hi everybody, I'm selling the following to fund an upgrade:

Canon EOS 20D

8.2 Mpixel digital SLR. ISO 100-1600 (extendable to 3200), 5 frames/s.

Bought used from Harrison's for £175 last October - they couldn't tell me the shutter count, and I've taken about 1700 photos with it since then. Has a few superficial scuffs on the body and a couple of small scratches on the LCD but otherwise in good condition - everything works as it should, battery door and socket covers intact etc. Comes with strap, battery, body cap, USB cable and battery charger.

No photos, as it's the only camera I own at present and without some Heath-Robinson double mirror setup I can't use it to take photos of itself.

Looking for £130.

There's some other accessories in "bits and pieces" below. Feel free to mix and match.

Canon EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens

Moderate wide to mid-tele (approx 28-135mm 35mm equivalent), image stabilized zoom lens that mounts on Canon crop-sensor SLRs. F/4 at the wide end and F/5.6 at the long end. Light, easy to use, do-everything lens which is a step up (in price and IQ terms) from the 18-55 kit lens that comes with the xxxD cameras. Takes 67mm filters.

I bought this new in April 2009 as a kit lens with an EOS 40D. It's in pretty good nick - a few cosmetic scuffs and one small scratch on the front element that has no effect on image quality.

It has one specific fault: if you move the "AF/MF" switch to "MF" the lens will still autofocus. As it is a USM lens, I don't find this to be a problem, becuase you can just grab the focus ring at any time and override the AF (which works perfectly by the way).

Comes with original canon front and rear caps.

Looking for £100.

Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 APO DC HSM lens

Nice, fast telephoto zoom lens, designed to fit Canon crop sensor SLRs. Approx 80-240mm equivalent on 35mm, with constant f/2.8 max aperture throughout the zoom range. Designed to be a smaller and lighter pro tele zoom for people who use crop sensor cameras. Has ultrasonic motors, so is quiet and focusses quickly and accurately. Nothing moves externally when zooming or focussing. Takes 67mm filters.

I bought this from Cofe off here in August 2010 and haven't used it much.

Good condition, couple of small cosmetic scuffs. Has a couple of tiny scratches on the front element, which have no effect on image quality.

Comes with hood, original Sigma front cap, Canon rear cap, soft case with strap, box and instruction booklet.

Looking for £225.

Canon 430 EX II speedlite

Good, medium sized Canon flash. Works in manual or with canon E-TTL flash metering. Zoms in and out (either manually or on it's own) so it only lights the area you need meaning the flash recycles quicker and batteries last longer. Everything is settable either on the flash itself or from menus in camera. Has plenty of power and a built in, fold away diffuser.

Bought this new in November 2009 from Harrison's. It's in good, but well used condition with quite a few cosmetic scuffs. Sill works flawlessly though. I've stuck some velcro around the head to attach gels to. Can be removed if you prefer.

Comes with soft case, little plastic stand (the thing it's perched on in the photos), box (a bit battered), instruction manuals and home-made off-camera flash cord. This lets you put the fash anywhere within a 5 metre radius of the camera, while behaving exactly as if it was on the hotshoe (full TTL metering etc.).

Looking for £125.

Bits and pieces

Canon battery charger CB-5L. Charges Canon BP-511 batteries for EOS 20D, 30D, 40D. Comes with power lead. £5.

Canon BP-511A battery for EOS 20D, 30D, 40D. Grey. Good condition, a few years use is a specific as I can be about its age, but it still holds charge well. Has clip on plastic terminal cover. £10.

Off brand BP-511 battery for EOS 20D, 30D, 40D. Brown. Bought off Amazon in March 2011. Has slightly higher capacity so lasts a bit longer than the Canon one. Has clip on plastic terminal cover. £5.

Yongnuo electronic remote shutter release. Works with 20D, 30D, 40D. Can be locked to allow bulb exposures. £5.

Canon battery charger for S95. £5.

Couple of Canon body caps. Free.

Canon G9, does not function, partially disassembled. Gave me the dreaded lens error, uneconomical to get it fixed, so I got freestyle and attempted to fix it myself. I failed. Might be of some use for spares. Has battery, charger and strap. Was in reasonable condition before I fucked it's shit up. Make me an offer if you can be bothered.

Package deal

You can have the 20D body, both lenses, 430 EX II flash, the two BP-511 batteries, spare charger and 2 gig CF card all for £550.

General info

In Walkley, Sheffield. Drop me a PM if you want to come and look/test.

I'd rather sell stuff in person than bother posting it, both to save on messing about with postage and to make sure you've seen, tested and are fully happy with what you're getting.

If you want me to post stuff, I'll charge you at cost.

I've described everything as accurately as I can, but if you have any questions, reply here or by PM.

Thanks for looking.

All still for sale, open to offers.

Going on ebay soon though, so get in touch if you're interested.

Cheers,

Nic
