Which is the best wall in Dundee. I will be visiting my Daughter in Leuchars next week and might hazard a trip to wall. What’s the parking like at the 2 walls or would I be better on public transport.
Also at which one would one, would I be less likely to be burnt off by my 10 year old grandson.

Hi Webbo, AVW is mainly routes with a bit of bouldering, and about 5ish mins walk from main station, with very limited parking nearby. It's a bit tatty round the edges, but fine for toproping novices, and the bouldering section downstairs lacks vertical height, but problems are as well set as they can be to compensate for lack of height. Block 10 is a more typical modern bouldering centre, with circuit based problems from grade very easy to quite hard. Parking is easy (except on match days as it right next to the two footy grounds). It's a bit of steep up and down hoof from the train station (20 mins?) through a not particularly nice part of town but safe enough. If you are after a bit of culture too, the V&A is good and the McManus (part art gallery / part museum) is great for everyone with a good cafe.

No, by English standards neither are what you would call busy on a weekend. B10 normally has about 20-30 mid afternoon on a weekend, AVW about a dozen last time I was in. bear in mind they don't have a cafe at B10 only hot drinks and snack bars and not much local food options. Not been in ages, but I think AVW does, plus loads of options to eat nearby.
