Fine effort indeed.
I'm sure there's a thread on UKB somewhere with you saying this one was too blank to go, when I mentioned it Mr Brown. ;)

Grade wasn't really discussed. Ben did put in a few visits, though he was all over it today. In terms of quality, I think its straight in to the top five best boulder problems in yorkshire, the moves looked fantastic.

That's Rich Heap filming.

wow. so it's up there with the alliance, wss, master kush and......?

looks ace. nice one ben. i sincerely hope you strobed the shit out of it JB.

If you'd have asked me last week what the best unclimbed line on Yorks grit was I'd have said this without any hesitation. Amazing line on a very beautiful piece of rock. Can't wait to see the film.

Great effort Ben, awesome line.

This is the best seson on grit that I can recall with so much going down and stuff that was deemed impossible or the living end not so long ago. At this rate I wonder how long it will be before we run out of last great poblems?

Hey guys thanks for all the comments, think this was definately a YYFY moment for me.

Even though I am slightly biased I do agree, and once I had looked at it on a rope and seen the moves were good and it was very hard but doable I started to get rather over excited. This boulder problem has obssesed me over the last few weeks to the level where it was becoming unsafe for me to drive, I couldn't sleep and my wife had started talking about divorce. It is quite a nice to have all of my brain back to focus on important things like making up stories about Greg Wiggle having all his hair chopped off (ask May). It is also nice to be able to eat properly again as (all due to Jerrys book) I had gone on my first ever diet over the 2/3 weeks prior to doing it (and lost nearly 1/2 a stone but also needed 2 visits to osteo Kim - weight loss is not good for the body)

The crux of it all now is a name and a grade. I was thinking something like 8A+ but I could easily be a grade out either way. On previous visits it had felt really hard but I seemed to have it fairly dialled on friday.

Really struggling to think of a good name for it. My buddy the monkey? Sparrows and Pigeons at Rylstone? My great friend the lime sucker? Cocoa pops? help me out here...

Nice one Ben, I struggle to think how you managed to loose half a stone, you don't exactly weigh much to begin with.
Loosing half a stone is easy for me, I just go for a dump

Kicking Horse on Broken Hill?
Dead Flag Blues?

Stunning line, well done El Mocho.

What about JB's "Riot Act" used in the thread title.

Bit long, but I vote for: 'I always succeed. My footwork is precise and efficient. I am the strongest, fittest climber in the world.' Or 'Peahound'.
