I've had to replace my Berlingo micro camper, and the new one has one of these fancy-pants smart alternators.
In the old van I used a battery-2-battery (B2B) charger to charge the leisure battery in "voltage sensing mode", so when the car was running the battery charged. The new alternator means this won't work very well (the alternator voltage will drop after running for a while).
The B2B charger I've got can be switched by a D+ signal instead - i.e a ~12v signal that's only live when the engine is running. I've given up trying to find such a signal on my 2017 Berlingo, so I'm looking for a decent auto electrician in or about Sheffield to give me a hand.
Does anyone have any recommendations or (long shot) know how to find a D+ signal on a 2017 Berlingo Multispace?
