:agree: about the holdz. Prefer Core Climbing, Bleaustone and French Rock, myself.
TCA seem to be extending the ranges of holds that they are using. Lots more Core ones and on Friday they looked to be adding what I think are some Beacon ones (but I may be wrong, definitely a new manufacturer...
Fingers crossed that they are.....but judging by the middle one of the three closest to the krab........it looks like the obsession with the blobs and deep grooves are still evident.
A criticism of HOLDZ rather than the climbing academy? Besides they are getting plenty of the new Core holds on the circuits which are brilliant :thumbsup:
We must bear in mind that the academy has only been open for a matter of 4 months, and so its a bit early to get all hot and bothered over...
Just get yourself the 'training for climbing book' by horst, all you need is in there.

I, too have narrow feet (low volume) and find that red chili corona vcrs are a very snug fit all round. Pity the quality of the leather is so poor and tends to rip :spank:
Funnily enough they have font grades at UCR now (wonder why they introduced that all of a sudden :-\) and so many people go around moaning that they are innacurate :wall:.
I agree with Paul that grades can put people off trying a problem that they feel is too hard for them. I have certainly...
The pics do not do the place justice imo. Thankfully some foam for the matting appears to have arrived so thats a step towards opening....great....I cannot wait.
