As you say Kito's is fairly standard - but I do love it.It does have a local charm, dead friendly and the home made Lemon cheesecake is very good
La Terrazza on Sharrow Vale Road at Hunters Bar is a decent little BYOB Italian too if that's what they're after.Or Kitos up our way. Also standard, perfectly good Italian, also BYOB.
Anyone know of any decent fish restaurants in Sheffield?
went to Sushi Express with work people yesterday evening
Just got back from the Butlers Balti. I didn't go when it was at the top of Broad Lane though I'd heard it was good. The new premises are pretty nice on first glance but there are a few things that need attention like the drink stains on the walls.Anyhoo the pickle tray and poppadoms were great with 7 different pickles.Starters were good too. Paneer tikka (too much red colouring as usual though), onion bhajis and aloo chat.Things were looking good. The mains were a complete disappointment. The korma looked like sticky toffee pudding and some of the coconut hadn't been thoroughly mixed in. The jalfrezi wasn't hot enough and lacked flavour and the tikka masala was described as tomato soup.Overall it was alright. Wouldn't recommend or go back.
Zeugma 1 has had a re-fit recently, the food remains the same (great) and as an added bonus we were given a round of Turkish tea on the house.
rajput is byob. Though the food is just standard indean really - not at all bad.
