normally, yes. But in this case, I tacked it on to the windscreen with fingertape, and then simply removed it from the hire car when I gave it back. Huzzah.

A friend from Leeds used to stick his to clingfilm and then to the windscreen. I mention he was from Leeds only to highlight that he was therefore tight.

So using cling film's tight but using tape is frugal, yes?

thats weird since every time i've had a pass i've merely placed it on the dashboard

I've tried that one and for two years running they forced me to stop (at gunpoint), reached into the car and ahhhhhh! thats the ticket. On the windscreen.

they're not really going to shoot you over a motorway pass dobbin. it's not the lebanon. i suppose one of the trips was for homzone tho, they probably wanted autographs
