For Free! Sony DV Head Cleaner
May 14, 2008, 08:44:32 pm
I've just ordered a bunch of tapes from Amazon on some killer deal but part of the package is a whole load of head cleaners, which I don't need. I've got way too many, so figured someone else could do with one. First 4 people to post on here will be sent 1 for free! (favours for favours...)

I realise this isn't a great giveaway but it's better than a night at Neverland. Only rule is you must be a contributing member of UKB. No new members.

peace

ps. I predict I won't be able to give these away.

I'd take one but I really can't see it being worth your while.

I was just thinnking I need to get a head cleaner so would be absolutely delighted to take one off your hands if you still have one available.

Although I haven't actually looked into the costs etc, would it be cheaper for me just to buy one? As GCW says, don't want to waste your time, unless you really are at critical mass for space and MUST get rid of four head cleaners NOW....

You don't need to get any more footage 'til you're done editing what you already have.

Arrived today Uncle cheers you're a legend.

I think your version of the address confused the postwoman for a day or two, certainly baffled my wife who has apparently not heard of Gaskins. A few firm blows with the learning stick soon sorted her out though:

"Repeat after me god is spelt G A S K I N S" <thwack> "Repeat after me god is spelt GASKINS" <thwack> "Repeat after me.......

Cheers Unc, got mine today.
For some reason the post office decided the letter was underpaid by 6p, thus kept it at Nazi HQ where I had to go and collect it, paying not only 6p but £1 handling.
Luckily the chap on the desk was understanding and let it slide.  Bloody Post Office.

Its all to do withe their fucked up new pricing system that accounts for the size/shape as well as the weight.  The Medical School at University of Sheffield are currently getting franking machines sorted at a cost of £7000 and in the interim are incurring significant costs as a consequence of these changes.

£1 "admin" is ridiculous.

£1 "admin" is ridiculous.

£1 admin is a desperate attempt by Crozier to reduce the £279m per year losses the Royal Mail are making (while his salary has tripled to around £3m). Cunt.

Sorry about that. It all came about due to my tardiness. I got the post office a tad late, so just bunged on a first class stamp, rather than waiting for tomorrow.

I actually received an 8a mag from Adam the other day, or rather, I didn't receive it, but it's at the Derby sorting office due to a 10p shortfall on the price of the stamp along with the £1 admin charge. I left it with them, figuring it would be cheaper (for me) if they send it back to adam (which they will do) then he can put on a large first class stamp and send it again.

Don't get me wrong Unc, I'd have paid £1.06 for it.  Just the ridiculour rules and charges the PO apply.
