5.10 Jet7 sizing
April 27, 2008, 03:15:21 pm
Anyone on here got a pair of Jet7s? I tried on a pair this morning and they felt great. Wondering if they stretch much in which case I'll need to drop another half size. Anyone had a pair long enough to know if they bag out?

Yup, the CragX shop. Don't think they have restocked. They didn't have 6.5s, though the guy running the shop said he'd be willing to order a pair of that size.

I don't think they'll bag much due to mostly being covered with rubber.

By small I mean 4-4.5 ish.

Found these Stu.

They start at 4 and go down to about a 13. Apparently good for heelhooking but the mad monkey logo prevents good toe drags.

Stu -Make sure you try the Jet 7 before you buy, the sizing seems to be a be-atch

Needlesports say these come up bigger than most 5.10s. Is this right?

Also, according to my family, I have 'freakish feet', wide with a high arch that means VCS don't fit (can't get them on), although I do have some blue anasazi slippers that seem OK now I've stretched them hideously. Are these a non-starter? Any suggestions?

As I'll have to travel some way to check them out any experiences would be handy.

Is this a jet 7?

I knew someone would do this (cover it all in rubber) only a matter of time before the whole boot be rubbery, arrr!

I took a 6.5 and I'm usually a 7 in velcro's. I would avoid them if you have wide feet as I don't and I still get a lot of little toe crushage. They seem a very particular shape and I certainly wouldn't just get 'em without trying that specific pair on
