Seems Vista is so bad they are doing another service pack for XP
It is just a round up of all the patches that have been released since Service Pack 2 and that will be it for XP with the exception of
major security fixes. It will then be "forgotten" about and put onto the back burner and the marketing machine will swing into gear to promote Vista (again) after the release of SP1 which will be released at about the same time.
As for upgrading to Vista - I am thinking about getting a MAC instead - it is just a matter of whether I can make it worth it for the limited amount of things that I do.
