If we're still talking about Dark Matter/ Ego, its not an eliminate, just a tight line - ie intermediates are fine as long as they're not big ones off to the side.

cheers for that.. the pebble was above and to the right of the rh sloper, (tho not part of what is problem 52 in ru's guide ..) ..basically it was within easy reach of my rh when I had both hands on the slopers so I guess that makes it part of the line.. if anything using the pebble might have made the problem feel easier because I hadn't been on it that long, maybe half an hour..  I guess if I'd been working it longer and had the problem slightly more dialled finishing without it may not have felt any harder, (in isolation the move from the slopers to the top felt ok without the pebble..) if anything, to me the crux felt like getting set up on the lh sloper.. still, really cool problem, with or without the pebble..

That's bullshit I've seen you at Woodwell loads of times. Thought I'd get that in before Mr. Brown wheeled out one of his tired old one liners  ;).

Is this supposed to be humorous?

Are you in particularly jocular mood because it's nearly the first birthday of your modern classic?  Oh, how the bouldering world is richer for:
