Looking for two housemates two fill two recently vacated double rooms.

We live in a nice old house in Hunters Bar, ten minutes drive from Burbage. Double rooms, garden, high-ceilings, close proximity to shops/pubs/eateries, right next to the park and generally quite a good place to live.

We are coming to the end of our contract and want to renew for another six months, but two housemates are moving out (for unrelated reasons), so we need to find some replacements. We'd prefer young professionals/post grads, mainly because the housing agency needs to run a credit check, and it might be difficult with students.

Rent is £175/month, excluding bills, which is a bargain. Council tax is around £30/month. With bills on top, this still works out cheaper than most places. Don't make any assumptions from the low rent though - it's a really nice house!

Drop me a pm if you are interested...

Cheers

Scratch that. Got a letter through the door saying the landlord wants to sell the place. So we are being evicted. Oh well.

Sympathies, dude. Just been thru the exact same thing. Prices being skyhigh , loads of landlords are getting out at what they expect to be the top of the market. Also recent interest rate rises (with more expected) mean that many landlords are finding that rent just isn't covering their mortgage anymore. Either way it sucks for the likes of us.
