CrapTime
November 02, 2006, 10:54:29 pm
I tried to install quicktime t'other week but it says a newer version is already installed, which it blatantly isn't, otherwise i'd be able to watch movies!
Anybody know any remedies for this?

I had this problem a while back, have you got iTunes installed? Quicktime Player is integral to iTunes now. You could try the 'Quicktime Alternative' in the mega codec bundle from Edske....

I installed iTunes but had to do a system recovery (not because of iTunes) and now neither quicktime or iTunes will install.

never use system recovery. Always turn it off. If things go wrong then do a fresh install
