"The 30th shout of the year was a long one. The lifeboat launced after a fleece was found on rocks between Porth Ysgo and Aberdaron. It was also though that a camera may have been sighted but this was washed away before it could be confirmed by coastguards. With the presumption that someone may have fallen in the water, a major search was carried out by coastguard teams, a Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley and Porth Dinllaean Lifeboat. The Abersoch Lifeboat did a thorough shoreline search from Porth Ysgo to Carreg Ddu in Bardsey Sound. Nothing was found and the lifeboat returned to station after 3 hours on the water"
