I uploaded an animated gif as my avatar but it dont animate

I see other peoples avatars animating but not mine, do I have to do anything else or should it just work?

If I drag the gif into firefox it works fine.

If the forum software resizes the avatar then the animation won't work any more.

It will resize anything over 150 pixels high or wide.

That gif has already been used as an avatar on here by the infamous Necro anyway.

I looked at the size and it is 150 X 107 apparently, but I'll have to get another anyway.

That's odd - you can have animated gifs though coz I've used them myself.

Try a smaller one and see if it works.

that's better, it must've been the size of the other pic.  Is anybody using/used this one?
