Not interested in IE anymore really.
If it gets reviews that categorically state it's better and safer than Firefox then I'll consider switching. But there's no way I'm using the finished product until then, let alone a beta version.

Hopefully Firefox will emulate any good ideas IE comes up with, but probably in a better, safer way!

Also, whilst the majority use IE, FF will be the safer option.
Hackers will generally produce exploits for the most popular platforms, in order to maximise their return. They will also target MS because of who they are.

Ive been using it for the past month (on WinXp, its been available on Vista for a while now) or so - its not that great. I just find firefox to be easier to use and generally the look and feel is nicer. IE7 has dispensed with the File/Edit/View etc menus that have graced windows apps for the past forever and put everything onto icons.
The look of it isnt too hot either. Maybe it will look better when Vista is finally completed, all the new desktop graphics are new renderred using dierctX instead of Win32 so expect some big changes in the way software will look. Vista is due to ship Q3 2006

Vista is supposed to look great but I think I'll resist the temptation to upgrade from a stable XP install until Vista SP1 is out.

Ive been running it for 6 or 7 months. It has some problems but overall it runs ok - if a little slow. I'll upgrade to a 64bit machine soon so we'll see how it goes then. Still not suitable for your only OS tho, and its too big to run in Virtual PC
