Wanted: Hydraulic Front Disc Brake

I'm after a reasonably cheap but not shit hydraulic disc brake (front) for an XC mountain bike, if anyone has one for sale please would you PM me with details?

Got a hope mono M4 which has been used for about 5 minutes before the bike broke.

Yours for £100, but I guess that's not exactly cheap.

Mm yes it is a bit dear, it's just for an oldish bike which I put some forks I was kindly given, didn't know I can't put V brakes on them though  :roll:

So, given that I will still be running a V brake on the back, and if I could woould just be using a V brake on the front too, do i need a hydraulic disc brake at all.. or

would something like THIS

be OK for my needs?

If and when money permits and I can justify it I will be looking for a new bike anyway, so don't want to inject loads of cash into upgrading my old Rockhopper.....

if its a cable disc don't bother.they are supposed to be well crap.

It is cable. Wouldn't bother either, pain in the butt apparently. If you get a decent hydraulic disc, you should be able to transfer it to your new bike when you get one

there are loads of cheap hydraulic brakes at www.chainreactioncycles.com - have a look.
