Sun Sea Sangria Bouldering?
October 07, 2005, 01:06:08 pm
Off to Spain in a couple of weeks. Apparently we are flying to Mercia airport and staying about 15 minutes drive from there in some big villa development (details are not my forte). We will have a car but her ladyship is after a relaxing few days by the pool, whereas I am not. I am hoping to find a stretch of beach about three miles long with perfect golden sand and regularly placed 4-6 metre high boulders with a range of three star slab, wall and roof problems of all grades. Does this place exist near where I am going? Failing that are there any bouldering opportunities (ideally ones with sandy landings that don't require a mat) in this neck of the woods?

Cheers me dears...

My folks live near Murcia so I've been out that way climbing quite a bit.  All the bouldering is a bit shit to be honest.  The rope stuff is much better (dare I say that).

You can find info on the Orange House webshite
