quickest way to copy a partition?
June 01, 2005, 07:01:07 pm
I have a load of media files (80gb) that I need to copy to my new hard drive. I had a go at using Partition Magic but it was taking forever. Is there a quick way to do this? Thanks.

I've only ever used partition magic for resizing existing partitions.
Can't you just blank format the drive, then copy one to the other over night?

The media files are just in folders, the way I did it in the end was just to cut and paste 20 or so folders at a time.
